城下浩伺と TACO。
2014 年 12 月、大阪の「iTohen」と「la galerie」でふたりの展覧会を開催します。
この同時 2 カ所での開催にさきがけ、10 月、「millibar gallery」にてプレ展示と公開制作を行います。
Koji Shiroshita's and TACO's works will be exhibited concurrently at two separate venues - iTohen and La Galerie - in December.
Prior to the exhibitions, a special Open Studio program will be held at Millibar Gallery in October.
城下は「かいているとき、世界そのものにもなる。」
TACOは「描くことは、ふつうのこと。」だという。
彼らにとって、えがくことはごく日常のなかで自由を手にすることができる行為なのだろう。
それは特別なことではなく、わたしたちにも自由になれる場所があるのかもしれない。
きっと誰しもが、えがくということを経験し、その世界を知っていた。
ふたりでえがくこと。
はじまりは、昨年の冬にふたりでえがいた、ひとつの作品。
性も年齢もすごしてきた時間もちがい、それぞれひとりでえがき続けてきた。おそらく、みているものや、感じていること、考えていることも、ちがう。
そんなふたりがひとつの画面にむかうとき、筆は自由にうごく。まるで奔放にかけまわっていた幼いころのように。
ひとりでえがき、ふたりでえがく。
個人の作家として前を向く「STAND」 / 互いが影響し合い、進化する「GROW」 / そして、それらのはじまりとなる「ACTION」
互いのチカラを競い合い、ゆずり合い、おぎない合うその姿勢は、表現することのあらたな可能性や、ひとがひととできることの可能性をしめしているように思えます。
創造性という可能性を、ぜひみにきてください。

For them, drawing is a way of bringing freedom into their daily lives.
There might be a place for all of us to be free, too.
Everyone is familiar with the world of “drawing”.
Drawing together.
It began from a piece of artwork that the two artists drew together last winter.
The artists are different in gender and age. They have different pasts, drawing on their own.
Probably, they are different in what they see, feel and what they think, too.
When these two artists stand in front of one screen, their paint brushes move freely.
It is nostalgic of childhood, when we can run around as we please.
Drawing alone, and drawing together.
In “Stand”, they stand alone as individual artists; in “Grow”, they influence one another and evolve; and, all of this begins with “Action”.
At times competing against each other, at others supporting and compensating for one another, the result of these collaborations show a new possibility of expression and what people can do when they work together.
